Kinetic Aegis has entered into a strategic research partnership with the African Aerospace Research Initiative (AARI) to advance autonomous navigation technologies and GPS-denied flight capabilities.
The collaboration will focus on visual-inertial odometry, terrain-relative navigation, and edge AI processing for real-time obstacle avoidance and mission adaptation in GPS-contested environments.
Research outputs will be integrated into Kinetic Aegis's next-generation platform roadmap, with initial technology demonstrations planned for 2027.
